Insuperables razones de orden personal -comunicadas con anterioridad impiden, como era mi ferviente deseo, asistir a la presentación pública de la Fundación Zelmar Michelini.

 

No obstante, al margen de mi modesta presencia en tan significativa y relevante instancia, no puedo dejar de expresar mi más profunda solidaridad y adhesión a lo que constituye una parte del reconocimiento que todos los uruguayos le debemos a Zelmar y, a su vez, a la construcción de una herramienta que nos permita a quienes supimos y conocimos de sus quehaceres por la democracia, la libertad y la paz, continuar la irrenunciable labor por la reivindicación de la verdad, la justicia y la irremisible vigencia de los derechos humanos.

 

Adelante, la tarea continúa. Espero poder hacerlo con Uds. y junto a Uds.
