VII Encuentro Regional Latinoamericano de Sitios de Conciencia

 Montevideo 24 – 27 de setiembre de 2013



La Red Latinoamericana de Sitios de Conciencia, que reúne instituciones de la región asociadas a la Coalición Internacional de Sitios de Conciencia, realizó su encuentro anual en la ciudad de Montevideo entre los días 24 y 27 de setiembre de 2013. Los miembros de la Red compartieron la experiencia latinoamericana, y realizaron una serie de discusiones públicas con actores claves de la experiencia del Uruguay, en ocasión de conmemorarse los 40 años del golpe de Estado en el país y en el marco de Montevideo Capital Iberoamericana de la Cultura 2013.

La Red integra 32 instituciones en 11 países: Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, México, Paraguay, Perú, República Dominicana y Uruguay.


La apertura pública del Encuentro tuvo lugar en la Sala de Ceremonias de la Intendencia de Montevideo Ernesto de los Campos el día 24 de setiembre y contó con la presencia de la Intendenta de Montevideo Ana Olivera, a esta apertura le siguió la mesa sobre Políticas de Justicia y Memoria Colectiva
